JewelleryNet’s May 27 webinar, “Social Media Marketing Know-hows to Capture Your Buyers’ Minds,” highlighted practical strategies for effective B2B engagement.
Experts from Informa Markets’ International Marketing and Corporate Communications, Asia team – Senior International Marketing Manager Vickie Chan and International Marketing Executive, Customer Insights Chloe Cheung – underscored the integral role social media can play in companies’ marketing plans and business strategies to generate B2B leads and opportunities.
Noting that content and strategies had to be tailored to specific platforms, they delved into the fundamentals of the three main social media channels for B2B engagement: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
According to the speakers, a successful social media strategy entails (1) formulating a clear social media plan outlining targets, timelines and content, (2) producing the right content for the specified channel, and (3) tracking and evaluating progress, adjusting for efficiency along the way.
