Earrings and ring from Marie Mas' Emerald Wave capsule collection
Bracelets from Tamara Comolli's Ocean Jasper collection
Pendants from Qeelin's new Yu Yi extension
Fashion-forward designs, non-traditional materials and meaningful pieces are headlining jewellery collections as the market gravitates towards self-expression in a Covid-19 world.
Emerald Wave, a capsule collection of Marie Mas, builds on the brand’s core diamond jewellery line, The Wave. The seven jewellery pieces in 18-karat rose gold are set with rows of green emeralds from light to dark shades. Each item features Marie Mas’ signature design and dynamics that replicate the undulating movements of waves.
According to Creative Director Marie Cabirou, emeralds were picked as the gemstone star of the popular line due to their rich and refreshing depths of green that allude to the deep seas.
Ocean jasper, meanwhile, gets top billing in one of Tamara Comolli’s sought-after collections. The brand elevates the stone, previously processed mostly in handicrafts, with diamond pavé accents and fresh designs.
Each jewellery design in the Ocean Jasper Collection is one of a kind as each gemstone has a unique pattern, reminiscent of abstract paintings and landscapes. The stone’s earthy tones appeal to nature lovers and true individualists, the brand notes.
Qeelin, for its part, refreshes its successful Yu Yi design with a hollow-out version with an outline of diamonds. The minimalist design shines on its own or worn with other jewellery pieces.
The Yu Yi collection extension features 18-karat rose-gold necklaces and hollow 18-karat rose-gold Yu Yi pendants with diamonds on their outlines. Consumers can choose from three pendant sizes and two chain lengths. A bracelet and a pair of earrings are included in the collection.
