Diamond manufacturer SRK is reaping the fruits of innovation with the growing success of its e-commerce model.
One of the exhibitors at Jewellery & Gem Digital World – the first in a series of B2B virtual events jointly organised by Informa Markets Jewellery and Atelier Technology – SRK said its digital transformation has allowed it to reach new audiences and meet customised orders quickly and efficiently – resulting in the successful completion of about 75 percent of “blind sales” online.
“Our e-commerce model for selling diamonds is proving to be a successful one as we pivot towards a more sustainable business model,” the diamond manufacturer said.
SRK offers diamonds in sizes ranging from 0.30 to 30 carats, in D-Z colours and in almost all clarities and shapes.
“There are many differentiating factors that make diamonds from SRK very unique,” the company said. “We have the largest selection of finely crafted natural diamonds, which are cut and polished by our artisans. Our available inventory and capability to craft diamonds on-demand ensure that we can fulfil our customers’ needs,” SRK added.
Quality control is built into every step of SRK’s manufacturing process, the company noted. “Our internal QC (quality control) team curates the stones according to set parameters. This has allowed us to achieve consistent, quality diamonds, enabling us to close about 75 percent of our ‘blind sales’ online,” said SRK.
