Sophistication and artistry reign supreme at this year’s Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA), with major exhibitors displaying an opulent collection of jewellery masterpieces embellished with high-quality white and fancy colour diamonds.
Yellow diamonds in fancy cuts and intense, captivating colours are the stars of Dynamic International’s product offerings at the fair. According to Ashu Malpani, president of Dynamic International, the company’s nature-inspired jewellery pieces stand out, thanks to innovative diamond cuts and intricate designs.
“Yellow diamonds are steadily rising in popularity alongside pink and blue diamonds. We offer yellows in excellent colours. Our combination of full and rose cuts also make our jewellery pieces stand out,” shared Malpani.
Dynamic International is also presenting a ring with a 6.45-carat checker-cut yellow diamond centre gem and accentuated with smaller fancy colour diamonds. The company’s jewellery pieces are handcrafted in Hong Kong and Japan.
Kunming Diamonds is also shining the spotlight on an enchanting assortment of loose fancy colour diamonds and fine diamond jewellery pieces by its fine jewellery brand, HYT Jewelry.
A highlight of its offerings is its extensive Argyle pink diamond collection, according to Shubham Maheshwari, marketing director of Kunming International Ltd.
“We specialise in Argyle pink diamonds and we have been promoting those as an authorised partner,” explained Maheshwari. “These diamonds have caught the attention of buyers, thanks to increased awareness of the product.”
Rio Tinto’s Argyle diamond mine in Western Australia is virtually the world’s sole source of pink, red, violet and blue diamonds. Mining at Argyle concluded on November 3, 2020 after 37 years of operations.
In late 2020, Kunming Diamonds acquired 35 of the total lots offered at the 2020 Argyle Pink Diamonds Tender, including a number of highly coveted pink stones.
At the fair, the company is showcasing a statement necklace adorned with Argyle pink diamonds and white diamonds.
Lussina Choi, deputy senior sales manager at Nelson Jewellery Arts Co Ltd, meanwhile underscored the importance of design in the fine jewellery scene. The company is also presenting a wide range of fine jewellery pieces set with fancy yellow diamonds interspersed with white and brown diamonds.
“With regards to fancy colour diamonds, what sets the jewellery apart is the design, followed by special techniques during production,” noted Choi.
Nelson Jewellery is offering a sparkling selection of yellow, pink and green diamond jewellery pieces as well as ruby, sapphire and emerald jewellery with white diamond accents. White diamond jewellery in classic designs are also on offer at the company’s booth.
