Fine jewellery pieces featuring rubies, sapphires, emeralds and other coloured gemstones in innovative designs are among the stars of the maiden Jewellery & Gem Digital World (J&G Digital World).
Scheduled for October 27 to 29, J&G Digital World is the first in a series of virtual events organised by Informa Markets Jewellery in collaboration with Atelier Technology. The event aims to provide buyers with a unique customer experience in a virtual setting.
Trade buyer registration has commenced and will remain open until October 29. The platform is in English for the pilot event, with the Chinese-language interface and other enhanced features slated for release next year.
Love for nature
Jewellery manufactures and designers will present their latest collections at the digital show.
Charisma Gems Co Ltd of Thailand is displaying an extensive selection of nature-inspired jewellery pieces, including a set of necklace and earrings adorned with rubies and diamonds alluding to the hibiscus flower.
Hong Kong-based Unicorn Jewelry Design Co Ltd meanwhile is offering the Butterfly Maiden – Indigo Fairy collection, which features gradating sapphires and diamonds.
JR Diamond International Ltd, also from Hong Kong, is shining the spotlight on its One of a Kind collection, which the company described as “trendy yet bold” and “created around a unique, high-quality precious stone.”
Headlining the collection is a bracelet with 22 pieces of emeralds weighing 23.80 carats and surrounded by 660 round diamonds of 12.3 carats.
Taiwan-based Top Kang Lapidary & Jewellery Arts of Taiwan meanwhile features The Story of Time bangle with a 63.45-carat rubellite centre stone and embellished with six emerald-green jadeites and diamond accents in 18-karat gold.
