JCK 2018 is the show's last exhibition at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino
Industry players targeting the US market are gearing up for JCK Las Vegas, which runs from June 1 to 4. This is the show’s final exhibition at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino before its 2019 relocation to the renovated Sands Expo Convention Center.
Reena Ahluwalia and Aaron Shum are unveiling two new collections at the show. The floral Alyssum line uses Ahluwalia’s signature motif, a quatrefoil with a star in the centre. Set in diamonds, the lightweight pieces come in 18-karat rose, yellow and white gold. Some are enhanced with enamel to display colour, attitude and individual expressions. Meanwhile, the new sterling silver Soul Carousel spinning collection from Coronet by Reena Ahluwalia features a signature “pointer” design element. The striking rings spin in a hyper-energised rainbow palette set with Swarovski Created Stones.
Fresh and competitively priced, both ranges are aimed primarily at self-purchasers and women seeking to express themselves creatively without breaking the bank. Also making its Las Vegas debut is the Color Carousel spinning necklace by Reena Ahluwalia.
ALTR Created Diamonds is shining the spotlight on its certified Type IIA lab-grown diamonds. It is displaying its one-of-a-kind, handmade River of Light necklace with 630 ALTR Created Diamonds weighing a total of 30 carats. ALTR will also showcase a unique selection of pink Created Diamonds.
Fine jewellery brand Le Vian is expanding its presence at JCK 2018 to a 4,000+ square-foot ballroom showcasing its spectacular jewellery. The space also contains Le Vian’s new Tech Centre, training stores on its latest style bar and a look at its new marketing campaigns.
Israel diamantaires are also making their presence felt at JCK this year. Organised by the Israel Diamond Institute (IDI), the Israel Diamond Pavilion will feature 34 exhibitors. It will hold a diamond auction of special stones offered by Israeli exhibitors. The goods will be on view at the pavilion and bids accepted from June 1 to 3.
Hong Kong companies are also showing up in force, with the Hong Kong Pavilion hosting over 170 exhibitors.
