The spotlight is on Indian gemstone and jewellery industry players who are displaying their latest collections at the Indian Pavilion of the September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair.
Organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC), the pavilion is housing leading suppliers who are showcasing a scintillating array of intricately designed jewellery pieces for discerning buyers.
This year, GJEPC has set up an exclusive India Design Gallery to shine the spotlight on jewellery pieces by India's most talented designers.
According to GJEPC, the designs are based on the theme, COSMOS, which represents prevailing consumer trends in the jewellery sector in 2020. The products illustrate varied cosmic elements in the form of gemstone- and diamond-encrusted rings, pendants, earrings, bracelets and head pieces.
“The Indian jewellery industry today is at its peak. Through the India Design Gallery, our country's design talents, exemplary skills and superior manufacturing capabilities are manifested to the world,” remarked Pramod Kumar Agrawal, chairman of GJEPC.
