Silver jewellery brands have taken the wraps off their latest offerings for the season.
In its new Grains of Life collection, Pandora plants the seeds of new style beginnings with wheat-inspired jewellery designs. In a faithful rendition of nature, the collection recreates silver leaves of wheat in bracelets, rings, charms, earrings and necklaces. It also puts a new spin on styling, with pieces designed for layering and stacking. The jewellery is available in both gleaming sterling silver and in Pandora Shine’s 18-karat gold-plated silver, with clear cubic zirconia capturing the shape and movement of wheat grains.
Pandora also harkens back to the Renaissance for the inspiration behind its Regal Tales jewellery series. The pieces are marked by fantastical designs that reveal hidden messages, secret compartments and concealed treasures. Tapestry-like designs on rings, bracelets and charms are woven with delicate lace patterns that cover each piece.
For its part, Links of London has unveiled its Ovals collection, which features jewellery pieces created by endless interlocking ovals in silver. Some designs are smooth and sleek while others play with textures and are encrusted with sparkling white topaz. The pieces come in shiny silver, warm yellow gold vermeil or edgy black rhodium-plated silver.
Aside from the minimalist single oval necklaces and the toggle oval bracelets, the collection includes a pair of multi-style drop earrings made of three connecting hoops that can be unclipped to create different styles.
